80 USG Stainless Steel 4-Port Buffer Tank with internal 40 USG preheat tank

ThermAtlantic 80 USG Stainless Steel Buffer Tank with 4 x 1-1/2" FNPT ports, Mg Anode, 3/4" FNPT T&P & drain ports, 1-1/2" & 1" FNPT ports for optional heating elements or connections, 2 x 1/2" thermal wells, 2" Polyurethane foam insulation along with an inner 40 USG tank with two 3/4" connections on top for potable water preheat.  This tank was specially designed to be used as a buffer tank with hydraulic separation with an easy and economical way to preheat domestic hot water in heating mode.  Should only one buffer tank be used for both heating and cooling applications you can either by-pass the preheat tank in cooling mode or take advantage of the incoming cold water to reduce some of the cooling load before it is used for DHW production.  Made from 14 AWG high quality Duplex stainless steel, these tanks are designed to last 10 years in closed loop hydronic and potable water applications with regular replacement of Magnesium anodes.  Tank is rated for use up to 90°C / 194°F and up to 150 PSI and requires purchase of a separate T&P valve suited for the application.
