Every DX2W module requires an outdoor heat pump condenser to complete the refrigeration system.  For smaller residential wall mount installations, any central split outdoor heat pump with 24VAC controls compatibility will work.  This includes conventional single and two stage heat pumps as well as the newer and more efficient inverter heat pumps available. 

For larger residntial or commercial installations you can use 2 or more of our matched DX2W-EX3 modules with your choice of outdoor condenser.  You can control clusters of modules using 3rd party controls or our own internet enabled controls.
