Outdoor Midea 5 Ton Cold Climate EVI Inverter

MIDEA's line of outdoor heat pump modules represent some of the highest quality and efficient heat pumps available in North America.  They feature enhanced vapour injection capable or running down to -30°C and can be controlled via conventional 24VAC controls, making it possible for us to easily bundle them with our DX2W modules.  Upon start-up units will modulate to either 60% or 100% of full capacity and maintain the optimum output and efficiency possible under operating conditions.  They are extremely quiet and will often run at partial load in whisper quiet mode.  They can be used in residential 240V single phase applications as well as commercial 208V single phase installations without losing capacity.  More than one unit can be used in larger installations as needed.  It is recommended that surge arrestors be used to protect electronics from noisy power and brown-outs. 

This item is the 5 Ton R-410A model which can be matched with our DX2W-EX3-48/60 indoor split module.
